AEO Agency Pricing Statistics 2026: The Monthly Cost 18 Vendors Print, Checked in October

We put every AEO agency price we had read on a vendor's own page in October 2026 into one table, and these are the pricing statistics it gives a startup shopping for done-for-you work. The median cheapest plan among the five startup services in our scorecard that print a dollar price is $3,000 a month. Among all the scorecard's services, the ones that write, publish and work on third-party sources themselves and print a price start at $10,000 a month, or €7,995 at the one that prices in euros. Three of the 18 vendors print no price for the service.

Why a table like this, now: from October 17 to 23, when Claude answered our daily buyer questions about what AEO costs, it drew on First Page Sage's GEO and AEO pricing statistics. When we read its cost guide on October 5, its ranges were what it had seen in the market; its own prices were not among them. A buyer comparing quotes needs the other kind of number too, the one each vendor commits to in public, with the day somebody read it.

Every row below was already printed on one of our pages before this post: the scorecard of ten AEO services for seed-stage startups, our comparison of Profound, Peec AI and Humans with AI, the category table on our pricing page, or the local table on our local plan page. The last row is ours.

The lowest, the median and who prints nothing

Take the six services from the scorecard that print a monthly price, leave out our own row, and read each one's cheapest plan. Discovered Labs prices in euros, so we leave it out of the median rather than convert it. The other five, sorted, are $149, $2,000, $3,000, $3,000 and $10,000, which puts the median at $3,000.

That median buys less than the word agency suggests. At both $3,000 plans the vendor does not do the work: RevenueZen's Foundation tier is monitoring and a report, and Optimist's Advisory tier is advice. Among the scorecard services, the ones that do all of it and print a price start at $10,000 a month (RevenueZen's Scale tier, Omniscient Digital) or €7,995 (Discovered Labs). GrowPad at $2,000 and Optimist's Full Service at $4,000 do part of it: GrowPad coaches your team on part of the writing, and Optimist's About page says it refers execution to partners.

The cheapest paid plan in the table is software, Otterly's $29 a month. Outside our own row, the lowest for work done for you is local: eCreations at $400 a month, for profile management only. The cheapest plans of the four local packages run from $400 to $525, a median of $489.

Three of the 18 print no price for the service: Avenue Z, GTM 8020 and Demand Curve, all three of which do the work themselves. Profound prints none for a brand after its trial, only for agencies.

Free audits and month to month

Two free ways in are printed: Profound's 7-day brand trial and our audit. The paid way in is a diagnostic, Discovered Labs' €4,370 (credited to the first month if you sign within 14 days) or Optimist's $7,500 Roadmap. Of the 18 vendors, four put something before month to month: Omniscient Digital plans in quarters, Optimist wants its Roadmap first, GrowPad's Series A+ clients typically sign 6 to 12 months, and Profound sets its term in an order form. Eleven print monthly terms, no contract or no long-term commitment, and three print nothing about terms.

Which row is ours, and how to discount it

We set the prices in our row on October 18, the day the rows marked Oct 18 were checked, and we chose which vendors went into the scorecard, so read the table as one vendor's list. What it cannot tell you is what any plan moves: a printed price is only what the way in costs, and on the scorecard's fifth criterion, results you can check, no vendor got a full point, us included.

Our recommendation, for a seed-stage team: if someone on your side has a few hours a week to publish pages, a $95 software plan and their time cost less than anything done for you. If nobody does, budget for a done-for-you plan and expect the printed startup plans outside ours to start between $2,000, for one that writes part of it, and $10,000 (or €7,995) for the ones that do all of it, and ask each vendor which tier actually includes the writing.

How we checked

Only vendors' own pages, rendered in a browser. On October 5, 2026 we read the nine other services in the scorecard, Minuttia, Profound and Peec AI. On October 18, 2026 we read Otterly.AI and the local rows, and the Profound, Peec AI and Humans with AI rows again; of those three, only Profound's agency base price had changed. The other October 5 rows have not been re-read since. Nothing here comes from third-party roundups or from First Page Sage's ranges. If a price about your company is wrong, write to hello@claw-world.app and we will correct it with a dated note.
